Considering the shortage in trained teachers in Tampa FL, I have taken it upon myself to volunteer for additional teaching work so as to help the children in need of proper education. It is also to my benefit because I get to say in a wonderful corporate furnished apartment in Tampa for the duration of my assignment thanks to the team at Avenida Suites.
It is interesting how seemingly only a little while ago there were so many people interested in education, but now the system is severely lacking in proper resources to staff all of the schools and educational outlets necessary for today. I have seen a lot of changes over time in this regard and I am shocked at how this situation has evolved.
I first got into teaching for what I believe to be obvious reasons, wanting to support younger people to fulfill their own dreams and aspirations through proper education. It has been particularly rewarding when I have a former student come back and tell me about all of their great achievements in life due to their schooling.
This may also be why I am so surprised that not more people want to take on education as a career. The rewards are great, but I do now see how the logistics have become somewhat lacking and have not kept up with the times.
I figure if I really do look at this situation critically, the fact that I need to go to Tampa FL to supplement their own school district staffing, it does not bode well for the future. At least my corporate furnished apartment in Tampa has been a blessing for me during this adventure.
