It has become my mission in life to taste all of the waffles in the country and begin a food blog where I actually rank and categorize and score these waffles into a system for others to follow and therefore be able to recognize the best regions and types of waffles around the country.

But, my favorite experiences have been while visiting niche waffle locations and hole in the wall establishments. These waffles are made with love and can really make my day.
Once I learned about the unique waffles located in Raleigh/Durham, NC, I made up my mind to visit and try these waffles for myself. It was a simple no-brainer for me, the only challenge was in finding accommodations that would support me during this research.
