I love cutting hair for a living because I feel like one’s hair is the cornerstone in their entire style and outward appearance. In order to develop my salon skills further, I’ve decided to book myself a furnished apartment in Tallahassee through Corporate Accommodations of NW Florida so that I can study in Tallahassee FL.
With my father having been in the military while I was a child, there was certainly a fair amount of spill over from the military lifestyle. I recall as a young boy, joining my father in the garage for our monthly buzz cuts, which continued until I was nearly 16 years old.
To be honest, I didn’t really mind the haircuts all that much. I didn’t really know any better, and in retrospect, I really have to admit that it was a lot cleaner and easier to manage on the day to day.
But what I learned after I left home and started to explore the world is that there are so many beautiful and wonderful ways to express yourself, with your hairstyle being like the icing on the cake. I was stunned at the sight of beautiful people walking around with their quaff hair and designer clothes.
I was so impressed and excited by what I was finding that I immediately started to grow out my hair as best I could. It was a slow process, and I certainly had no clue what I was doing, but when I deemed it to be the right length for a proper haircut, I visited my first-ever salon.
Since that fateful day, I realized that I was in awe of the barber and the stylist’s skill with scissors and trimmers, and shampoos and conditioners. I fell in love with the sublime feeling of being groomed and having a stellar look after a matter of minutes in the chair.
Flash forward to today and I am still looking to extend my learning in the world of hair care as far as I can. That’s why I’ve come to Tallahassee FL, to learn more about how to cut and style hair.
